If I had to tell a friend bout this place I'd tell them that Michigan University Hospital IS the worst most rediculas hospital. I hate Michigan University Hospital they dont take good care of there patients and then have the nerve to disrespect the patient. The family member who was being neglected and mistreated nearly died on the night shift of nurses because his nurse failed to respond to his nurse light. My son broke his femur in 2005 when he was 2 1/2 years old and we were transferred to U of M fromour local hospital for care and all of the nurses and docotors were great I thought that he would be scared to go to the docotors for the rest of his life folllowing such a tramatic brake, but he loved the docotors and all of the follow up visits. I became an inpatient on a Friday afternoon. I was told that since the dietician had left for the weekend, there was no way to decide if I needed a special diet, so I simply would be fed nothing at all until Monday. I was not supposed to be fasting. I'm not diabetic. I quickly transferred to another hospital, where I was fed.
