DO NOT go to her even if it's FREE and court-appointed and half price. This woman does not look at both sides equally. Go elsewhere you will be very sorry.
Dr LaCouture has impacted our family in such a positive way. Her Job as an evaluator is not an easy one and she deals with high conflict cases. Our case was definitely not an easy one. Dr. LaCouture was able to listen to our concerns and was easy to speak too. She was empathetic, warm and welcoming. The end result for our son was a success. She is awful. Stay away. I agree with the other two reviewers. She is biased and not at all professional. The court assigned her for reunification therapy with my son who has been completely alienated from me by his father. Had I known she was practicing years ago without a license, I would have requested a different therapist. Long story short, in the 2 years we went to her, not once was I in the room alone with my son to resolve issues.
