ALWAYS a great selection of D.I.Y. projects for all ages. From arts & crafts, baking, framing and much more. Michael's is the place to be both in store and online. They also have curbside pickup. They have summertime programs for kids. Our family loves shopping here and we recommend it to everyone.
I went to Michael’s yesterday and I was directed to Max to checkout. He has served me many times and has always answered my questions and directed me when I needed assistance. He goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. As an employer I can tell you he is an exemplary
Every time I go there I have to wait on line. Today when I went there ,were two people working at one register and there was a line. I have gone to other Michaels and they always have all the registers filled and it's a pleasant experience. This Michaels in Manhasset needs better management

Then go to Joann fabrics on Bald Hill road Warwick. I went there before work and there were 3 sales woman in a huddle laughing and talking and having a gay old time. Did they not see the 3 customers waiting in line. The first person had a large carriage full of stuff, but the 2nd and myself, had only one item. "Can I help the first guest?" Worst experience of my adult life!! I am a college educated, mature, reasonable, and compassionate freelance artist. When I went to use my $15 off of $75 order on my $100 order i was told that their policy excludes doorbusters. Which is fine, but I wasnt using their coupon. I was using a competitors coupon which clearly states in the same exact verbage "INCLUDES DOORBUSTERS". Best staff EVER! Friendly, helpful & knowledgeable. Management is a bit slow to respond when cashiers need help. The girl that checked me out called for back up help 3 times before someone actually came to the register.
Bad manners, not helpful. Incidentally, I think people are not paid well at this chain store because I've also experienced similar things at other Michael's. Shop at Jo-Ann. The team, for some reasons, is much more polite.
The people who work there are very nice but there is rarely anyone on the floor for assistance. I found the website of no assistance for current inventory. Most people who go there know the store so if your a “newbie”... Good Luck.
