I can't say anything for Mike - but Maryann was pretty rude when trying to get on as a new client. 10 days without an email response, then when I called they're not taking new clients, and no waitlist or anyway to stay in touch. I felt like she was just happily not responding/pushing people out the door. Totally fine, but not how I would want to continue doing business.
Over the past several years I've worked with Mike's team for assorted client tax and accounting plans and issues, and have been incredibly pleased with the quality and tempo of service. Further, despite being fully proficient as a financial planner myself, I've even engaged Mike as my own CPA and have found him to be the consummate professional for my own firm's tax and accounting needs.
My wife and I had a complex tax return to complete, so we reached out to Mike for assistance. Our experience with Mike and his assistant Maryann was extremely positive. He took the time to explain our taxes, was responsive to our inquiries, and is highly knowledgeable. Even though we don't live in Colorado where Mike practices, we were easily able to securely submit our many documents to him and do everything online.
