My wife and I had a trust account check we needed to deposit, at that time we were with wells Fargo, they wanted us to open a separate bank account and other requirements, it wasn't feasible, so we went to BMO, no problems, everything went smoothly. Why, when I call the local branch phone number for a general question with online banking, am I routed through a call center that sounds like it's in Kuwait? 9 minutes on the phone navigating the BS to get me to the right department... sigh
As someone who has worked in banking for 15 years, the customer service is atrocious. I would NEVER treat any customer the way they treat people here. Very disappointing. It's a pain to switch banks but today having such a horrible experience at the drive through it just has to happen. Everyone has bad days but taking it out on a customer who did nothing is unexceptable.
I have been with them for 20 years, I am closing all of my accounts. Terrible service!!!
