I'm so glad I chose Travis to be my beginning pistol instructor. He's clearly put a tremendous amount of thought and energy into his teaching. He explains not just how to do a thing, but WHY he has you do it that way. He's calm, cheerful, and professional. As a middle-aged woman with zero experience, I received only respect and encouragement; Travis doesn't have any of the "macho attitude" one might encounter elsewhere. He is very focused on safety and foundational skills, but he still made it fun. I hope to go back for more... read more
Travis is an excellent instructor. His qualifications put him on par with almost any instructor, and well above a large number of them. You won't find anywhere in the area that has a better instructor.
