We feel very fortunate that our mum is living at Laurel Court, and yes agree a care home is only as good as the staff and management. The team are friendly, caring and supportive, and know individual residents needs well. And service and care is personalised. Visitors are welcome to see residents and there are nice areas to sit. The staffing ratios are enough high to meet a wide range of needs. They keep in contact with me and I can talk with my mum by phone and video call. They treated her with immense kindness, they challenged her, and cared for her with compassion and dignity — and they supported our family through her decline with huge kindness too.
