After a 2023, 2 hour long, hail storm we battled with our insurance company for just under a year. Once the piles of hail had melted, we found granules all over the base of our home. New roofs were being done all over our neighborhood, four directly across the street. But, according to our insurer, we did not have hail damage to our roof, only some minor metal cap damage. I had a hail storm on 08/03/23. First adjuster came out and so no hail damage. 2nd adjuster came out and said I had hail damage to all my metal caps, gutters, and downspouts but none to my asphalt shingles.. 🤔 they said they were blistered. Even with videos, roofing contractors verification of hail damage, and NOAA weather reports, they kept denying my claim. I was referred to MGW law by a friend and I am so glad she did!!
