OG Client Review: HONEST Let’s just say I have been coming to this salon before it got “IG Famous” and before the renovations. So you are talking about 10 years. I recently had my haircut at the salon this Friday, and I must say the experience and the quality is very poor. My service was extremely rushed also Davena didnt have much basic knowledge about a bob/angled bob when I called to make my appointment i requested to have someone who had experience with cutting bobs.After having a 10:30am appointment I wasn't seen until 11:15 in between my appointment Davena then took a client to blowdry her hair while I sat there and waited. I recently visited MGM hair studio and had a fantastic experience! Amela was my stylist, and she went above and beyond to accommodate me, even taking time out of her busy schedule when she didn't have to. The haircut itself was exactly what I was hoping for—Amela truly listened to what I wanted and delivered beyond my expectations. Her attention to detail and skill are remarkable, and I left the salon feeling refreshed and confident.

I recently went to MGM for a haircut, expecting to get layers throughout as I requested. When I told the hairdresser I wanted layers, she immediately said, “Oh, that will be a lot of work, so let’s just do front layers and call it a day.” I trusted her advice, but once I got home and took a shower, I noticed how uneven the cut was—nothing like what I asked for. To make things worse, they charged me $90 for this poorly done haircut, which is outrageous. The hype around this place is completely fake. Not worth the money.

The best hair salon on Long Island! All the staff is so nice and accommodating. Will never go anywhere else for my hair!
