Most Saturdays (for years) I drive across Houston to meet friends at Gugliani's Italian Restaurant. It's become a tradition. The service is excellent, and they have a large selection of delicious entrees, including awesome pizzas. They offer call-in and takeout orders, especially their pizzas. The entrees are generous, as is the hot bread that is served soon after you arrive.
