My L&I attorney has been Dave Turpelsmith. He has been extremely helpful in helping me with my case. My case got really complicated after my injury due to mental health issues that came about slowing down my recovery and my retraing program. Dave has been very compassionate and sympathetic. He's been fighting the l&I department for me trying to get everything accepted and covered that happened afterwards because of my injury. His paralegal Mistina is really great and helpful too
After facing issues with my longterm L&I claim, I sought out a Workers Compensation attorney. The firm Meyer Thorp came highly recommended and I read good reviews. Now, I cannot in good conscience recommend this firm at all. After two months of a stressful experience with them, I terminated my agreement. After meeting with their paralegal for intake, no attorney EVER introduced themselves as my attorney nor communicated with me in any form.
