I recently rented a car in Guadalajara and had a frustrating experience. Priceline charged me $250 for insurance that covered the total value of the vehicle. However, when I went to pick up the car from Mex Rent a Car, I was informed that I needed to purchase a secondary insurance for the same amount if I wanted to rent the vehicle. If not, they wouldn't rent the car to me. As a result, I ended up paying $500 for insurance for just six days of rental, in addition to the cost of the vehicle. Great service
We had a great experience renting a car from this company. The pickup process was quick and smooth — no issues at all. The car was new, clean, and in excellent condition. On the day of return, everything was done in just 5 minutes, which was super convenient. To our surprise, we were even offered a free ride to the airport — something we didn’t expect, and it was a really nice touch. I’ll definitely choose this company again next time!

**Canadians, beware—this company is a complete scam!** when going into the states They do **not** accept Canadian insurance plans, and this crucial detail isn’t disclosed on third-party booking sites. You're forced to purchase insurance through them or the third party when booking.
