We went in today to buy a mattress. The staff was very knowledgeable about their product. We called them before we went to the showroom to ask a couple of questions. When we got to the showroom we were impressed to discover that they had called the manufacturer of the mattress to ensure they had the most current & correct information about the mattress. Jenny, Scott and the owner, Arnold were all very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Metropolitan Furniture for value, price and service. We bought two mattresses today!... read more

BUYER BEWARE...Had table on layaway which I just paid off when We tried to pick it up they tried to give us a scratched up floor model which is unacceptable because we purchased a new table. They said owner will contact me ,Either it will get ordered or store credit was thrown at us which also is unacceptable. 3 days later Owner didn't even have the decency to call me, He had someone call me and say it will be in store credit only period or you can pick something else is how she worded it, you do whatever you have to do. I dont love shopping for furniture, which is why ever since I moved here I have been looking for a furniture store where I can trust that the prices are great and the staff will treat me well. I am happy to report that after much searching, I have found that place with Metropolitan. I moved to the Houston area and needed to find furniture for nearly every room of my house.
