Great work from Metropolis moving! They unpacked for me after moving from Nashville to the UWS. Nothing broken, bumped, or damaged. Very nice crew. Will use them again.
Metropolis Moving did a great, quick, careful job of getting me from my place in Greenpoint to a new spot in Williamsburg. Their services are a bit pricier than some competitors, but I personally felt it was worth it, knowing that my things would be taken care of, not stolen, I wouldn't be upcharged on day-of for no reason, etc. They made what could be a very stressful day feel easy. Special thanks to my moving crew of Tommy, Eddie, and Mitch!
I moved from Chicago to NYC in August 2025 and had a terrific experience with Metropolis for hourly work unloading my moving truck. The team for my move, Jack, Eddie, and Adam, were on time, kind, caring about my items, and I noticed multiple times that they were hustling even when I wasn't immediately in sight. We’ve worked with Metropolis on our last two moves in NYC and had excellent experiences both times. Team is very professional and communicative. They set clear expectations that make the chaotic process of moving as seamless as possible. The team we worked with this time (Ricky, Eric, Jack) were awesome / very nice guys with great attitudes throughout the day, and Barry and Cathal were super easy to work with during the lead up to the move. Highly recommend!
