1) Metro Water installed a new sewer in my driveway, in a spot all cars have to drive over. Unfortunately it is crooked (see attached image). Over time, the gravel will settle or start moving down the slight hill in my driveway and tires are more and more at risk (they do come and refill gravel every now and then, typically too much). Very poor follow-through and hiding behind 'policy' so extremely difficult to hold accountable. Make sure you document every call. We purchased a new home in February. Agent setup water in our absence. Called Metro March, spoke with representative who was very pleasant and collected our social security number and details and confirmed the account would be changed into our name. Oh Metro Water, where to start!? Over the last five years, metro water has really put me to work. I will highlight the biggest issues in this review. 1) Starting with the storm water bill at my business (a dance studio and community organization): I have been billed $30 per quarter for storm water ever since we opened (January 2016). In 2022 it dawned on me that the amount charged is based on the size of the area of sealed surface (think parking lot), and I am supposed to be charged $20 per quarter. FYI they charge a “start up fee” when you reactivate a property you already had on your account. Just another way to scam people out of their money. Crap company!
