Good little grocery store. Foils food pricing by competing with the Loblaws up on Rideau St. Has very good sale items. You can get a pizza that costs 3.99$ from the store brand “Irresistible’s”. There is excellent ice cream for 4.99 from that same store brand. There is most excellent caramel sauce to put on the ice cream. They also have wedges of watermelon that are very cheap. We chop it into small pieces to have as a snack. Truthfully, it’s the only fruit we can afford because grocery items are so expensive now.
I like metro stores generally. This one is kind of strange because it had to have been a purpose built layout but the layout is cumbersome at best. A good store but the layout ... just can't get past how convoluted it is.
