After having a great deal of trouble with another bike shop Metro went out of their way and above and beyond to help get my grandsons bike back on the street. They called people that they didn't deal with normally (manufacturers) to fix issues and parts purchased at another bike shop gave us a deal that they didn't have to give us and were kind, considerate and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this bike shop for everything! You can't beat this kind of service!
Beat place in the world to get your new bike or take your bike for repairs! Their new location is awesome. They use to be located near me. Will go the extra distance and drive pass other bike stores to get to Metro Bike.
Do not use this shop. Ive been a loyal customer for years. Last repair visit resulted in work not being done properly, my bike lock being stolen and Mike accusing my eight year daughter of breaking gears that were just repaired. She couldnt even pedal the bike let alone shift the gears. Shoddy work and accusatory owner...not acceptable.
I started my day shopping for a mountain bike at Metro Bike-N-Sports, and could not bring myself to make a purchase at the first stop. I then called every store in metro Detroit and visited a few as well. This turned out to be a complete waste of time on my part. Metro Bike-N-Sports set me up with a great bike at the best price. Don't waste your day like I did, these guys are the best by far!
I went in looking for parts to fix up an old bike, and ended up buying a brand new Giant 29er. I love the bike, the service was excellent, these guys are very knowledgeable, helpful, and with free tune ups for 5 years, I couldn't beat it anywhere else. Definitely recommend Metro!
