Poor banking experience and complaints service. I opened a new account which was accepted then closed a week later. I had a remaining £1 left in the account and ask a store advisor is my account closed and what happened. They failed to provide reasons but assured me the account was closed. 4 weeks and two complaints later I am wasting hours travelling to a store to finalise the close and withdraw £1 as they can't transfer it to me or keep it with my permission. I visited Metro Bank Doncaster branch to consolidate the formalities of account closure and requested for the withdrawal of my available cash. Mr. Bernabas handled me professionally and helped me get it done seamlessly. Impressive indeed
Very good experience for me with the lovely and kind Staff all of them had the kindness and knowledge
Closes at 4 on a Saturday and not open on Sundays now. Also upped their business charges. Why am I paying more for less service? What is the point of going with metro if they are going to copy the opening times of all the other banks!?
