Went to Metro to grab a few things including tomatoes and what a complete waste of time and money. Picked up a pack that looked okay on the shelf, got home, opened it, and every single tomato was covered in mould. Soft, rotting, and clearly past their date. The expiry was already gone and somehow these still made it onto the display. This isn’t a small issue. You expect basic produce to be checked before it hits the shelf. I was visiting feom usa and had a wonderful experience of shopping at Metro,the halal rotisserie chicken was delicious,a clean,well managed store with a wide collection of fresh 💐 flowers. Highly recommend
