There is only ever one cashier on duty, forcing everyone either to wait in a very long long or do self-checkout, the latter of which is problematic because the self-checkout area to place groceries after bagging is small, doesn’t fit all the groceries in a family-sized shopping trip (and you can’t take items off that area or else the self-checkout stops working and you have to call for assistance), and often there are machine problems and we have to wait for assistance anyway. This store is large enough to have good variety but not too big to be time consuming. Seems like they are now using more cashiers which is a nice option to have rather than forced to use the automated checkout.
