Worst service I have ever had. The self checkout and service desk lady Kay was awful and rude. She seen me standing at the service counter but ignored me. Very disappointed as I shop here regularly. June 22. Went in to Metro Greenbank for a few things. Once again the same lady was rude and very grumpy. I think the manager needs to do something with Kay. Not a very good look for the store.

Absolutely horrendous treatment at metro 250 greenbank. After loading more than half of my groceries onto the conveyor I was informed that i had to move to a different cash. This was communicated by a gaggle of employees. They offered to help me move my order by throwing my items on top of my produce and bread in my cart for me to have to reload at a different lane. Quite like passing something to a person by throwing it to the ground. I'm quite accustomed to my produce going rotten in a day but now I had the absolute pleasu... read more

I went in to this metro the other day and asked an employee where the zucchinis were. He then directed me a completely different direction than where they actually were. When I confronted him about this he began shouting and yelling at me. This made me really hurt and I started tearing up. As I was leaving, I caught a glimpse of the worker’s name tag and I believe the worker’s name was Hussein. Very disappointed.

This store is large enough to have good variety but not too big to be time consuming. Seems like they are now using more cashiers which is a nice option to have rather than forced to use the automated checkout. In store bakery is convenient to get fresh bread and the vegetables and fruits are kept fresh and in good shape. Note there is a major renovation underway which is scheduled to be completed in September. In the meantime, the store is open but a bit disorganized.
