The sushi is a joke, tastes so bad, the shrimp, imitation crab cocktail has way too much sauce.
Very disappointing experience at Metro Gananoque. I’ve bought lamb from this location a few times, but this is now the third time the meat has smelled spoiled and disgusting. I tried to return two lamb legs that I bought only 1 day ago. They refunded the opened package, but refused to refund the unopened one. My husband had also bought another lamb leg 4 days ago, and unfortunately that one was spoiled too. Since the receipt was lost, we couldn’t return it and had to accept the money as a loss. This metro is very good and nice! The food is good and self checkouts are nice five stars!
Produce is not always fresh, strawberries were all moldy, and peppers were rotting. Also, don't buy gift cards from there, under the label "we are trying to prevent you from being scammed" the manager is interrogating you about your life!! Useless power struggle, which happens every single time!! Maybe they should consider introducing "proven non-being-scammed" status, similar to frequent flyer, or trusted traveller status 🤔. I will not charge them commission for the idea, if they decide to introduce it
