Our Dad was a resident at Metcalfe Gardens for only a few months but in that short time residents and staff made him feel immediately at home. We had to find him a home somewhat urgently and Rhonda from the beginning was so kind and helpful. Dad had exceptional care from all staff. We are grateful he was able to spend his last few months in such a comfortable and caring atmosphere. We thank each and everyone of you at Metcalfe .

After a thorough review of the retirement homes in St. Thomas, we chose Metcalfe Gardens for mom. Mom worked in a retirement home for over 20 years as a nurse and knows how things should be run. She's happy and says the staff have been terrific. Not to mention the great food options that leave her feeling quite satisfied. Staying at Metcalfe Gardens for a short stay after surgery is exactly what the Doctor ordered. Staff and residents are welcoming, helpful and make you feel like this is home. It's amazing that many staff have worked here for 20 + years! Dedication to residents combined with a Can Do attitude really offers remarkable care for residents. Meals are always delish, activities are plentiful and varied - Loved my hand paraffin treatment but my short stay time was finished before I could attend the Art Class !
