"We could be a nasty bank and keep your money and you would get nothing..." was what I was told when I expressed frustration about my account still being open after I closed it a year ago. I had a mixup with my Venmo account where it defaulted to my old bank account with Metairie bank. Horrible service
A few months ago this would have been a 5 star review. But everyone needs to know about the underhanded tactics at the Metairie bank on west esplanade. First off my wife and I had opened up a savings to compliment our checking account. Well a few months ago the employee Jeremy informed us that we had violated our savings agreement.
