I strongly advise anyone considering Merritt to stay away!!! I applied for financing through them, submitted all final documents back on July 29, and even had the car registered and insured with the lender listed as lienholder. Since then, Merritt has been completely unresponsive — they stopped answering calls, texts, and emails as of August 1. Because of their lack of communication and failure to complete the process, I’ve been stuck paying $430/month in insurance on a vehicle I don’t even have, and my first loan payment is... read more
I strongly advise anyone considering using Merritt for their financing needs to be very cautious. My husband and I are in the middle of a terrible experience with them. After he applied for financing, he submitted all the necessary documents on July 29th. We even had the car registered and insured with the lender listed as the lienholder.
