Unfortunately, it seems like I've had a similar experience. Please ask if there is any guarantees about what happens if your managed funds' here loses money. There are some brokers that will not get paid - no commission, etc. if they lose your money which these associates still rack up fees and expemses.

I've been to the Associates' here and not at all impressed. It's the same cookie-cutter rhetoric in advisement but you pay a premium for the products that they're peddling. It's better to just put a % of your money based on your risk tolerance into an index mutual fund that follows the S&P 500 and/or a S&P 500 if you have a stock portfolio and you're much likely to do much better since you pay minimal for fees vs. these 'Wealth Advisors' which charge a significant fee.
