Michael represented me in a complex employment matter and advised me throughout a very complicated negotiation process with my former employer. I'm not saying I don't respect a firm's decision to pass on taking a case, so I'm not salty about that. The intake specialist made it clear that up until now they're not in the habit of running a conflict of interest check on a website submission prior to the intake call where other attorneys do which means wasted time on both sides. Why e-mail back and forth and schedule a time if you haven't done that part yet? Legal assistant referred to me as the wrong name in his reply...
