Fantastic service and wonderful frames! I highly recommend Mermaid Vision in Lunenburg.
Have purchased glasses at Mermaid over a number of years. Today, Oct 27, 2025, I went in as I had a lens loose and could fall out. I didn't have the tool to fix it. However, went in to Mermaid - was greeted right away and the problem was fixed right away - and at not cost. The staff were great and we enjoyed a friendly conversation while I was there. Great people, great place.
While traveling in Nova Scotia, my prescription sunglasses broke in Lunenburg, with several days left on my trip. A shop owner witnessed this, and pointed out Mermaid Vision Optical Boutique across the street from his place. Walked in, and Dana and Sam could not have been more helpful! They managed to do a temporary fix with some glue, that kept my glasses usable til I could get back home. Appreciated their help so much, no charge.
