I am new to the disability process, and had a lot of fear, mistrust (after years of medical gaslighting from medical providers), and had virtually given up hope. Everyone I've talked to at Merit has been wonderful, supportive, and they've treated me with dignity and given me hope again. I've called 3x and left voicemail and emailed with no response. I've written a review and was asked to take it down now im not until I either win or lose my case. Im done with no communication. I've called emailed, left messages and it's been since Monday from the first phone call. The lawyer is great but people who get paperwork aren't.
Was denied and was failed to be contacted and the last time paperwork was requested from SOCIAL SECURITY they never told me I only found out because I just so happen to check my email. This is ridiculous. One of the most traumatizing experiences I've ever had to deal with and this sure doesn't help.
I have been with Merit Disability for about a year now. In the amount of time they have been helping me I feel like they have done everything they could possibly do to help me. The whole Social Security side of thing's just get's frustrating with their time tables and what they need. I just wished that they could speed up their determinations.
