Mr. Anderson was doing the job pro bono for a friend and did it show. His firm was dismissive, misleading, unprepared, uncooperative, and never felt my wife would win. Kept telling us that we would have to appeal 3 days before hearing, scaring my wife who has an incurable disease. Did not want to meet with her in person after we were told by his staff that he would and would be by her side at the hearing. We went to his office on the day of the hearing only to be turned away as if we were a pariah. Thank God my wife won, not... read more

I am new to the disability process, and had a lot of fear, mistrust (after years of medical gaslighting from medical providers), and had virtually given up hope. Everyone I've talked to at Merit has been wonderful, supportive, and they've treated me with dignity and given me hope again. No false, grandiose promises, just realistic hope... and that is a powerful thing. I've called 3x and left voicemail and emailed with no response. I've written a review and was asked to take it down now im not until I either win or lose my case. Im done with no communication. I've called emailed, left messages and it's been since Monday from the first phone call. The lawyer is great but people who get paperwork aren't.
