They will not let customer deposit checks from third-parties...like parents and grandparents into their accounts.
35 years at this bank and I understand regulations have changed, however work ethic and knowledge should have improved. However since Merrit has purchased and changed out all the employees (with the exception of 1 or 2) and imposed new rules upon them it has been nothing but an uphill battle to do business with them. My dog has a better understanding of accounting and a better knowledge of where she stored important items than they ever will. Other than no ATM at the Mentone or Valley Head branches, my interaction and overall experience banking here has been great.
I wouldn't recommend this bank to anyone.
