I've been a client here for about 2 years now and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable! I have 3 banking products with Meridian and have not had any issues whatsoever.
Yikes, came to withdraw cash after hours. Apparently the ATM has bank hours too?! Unlock the outer door, I've never seen this issue at dozens of other banks.
The staff inside this location itself are super friendly and I'm sure great with basic personal banking BUT I would never recommend trying to do your small business with this bank. The business team is reckless, rude, and very inconsiderate of their customers needs. This goes all the way from their so called 'senior' small business advisor, Marc, to the Manager for Small Business banking, Sandra. Worst by far! Doing business with Meridian since 2020. Super inefficent and no transparency. They are unionized and that sums it all of how broken in doing business they are. Eventually, our business with Meridian is halted. Surprised how they call themselves as financial institution. Stay away from Meridian in general, go respect yourself and work with real bank.
Borderline dangerous. I received a rate hold through Meridians online offering when I was looking to move my mortgage. Once the rate was secured I was not sure how to proceed and I contacted my local branch, receiving assistance from Janet, who then referred me to George, a mobile mortgage advisor. I was concerned when this happened as I've spent over 7 years in the banking industry and generally mobile mortgage specialists do not take files started through online applications.
