I'm sad to say that the communication and incompetence of this branch is beyond frustrating. For someone who has a mortgage and heloc with these guys, looking to purchase another property, they have 0 customer service (aside from mobile mortgage specialist, hes quite good). All I've wanted is my requests (mortgage info or property tax info) to be handled in a timely manner, for the past few years this has not been the case. I have to say that the staff at this branch are consistently better than other branches I have gone into. Jeff in particular is very knowledgeable and helpful
The rudest manager I have ever encountered. I used to have a pleasant experience at this bank but since the manager changed, the bank has gone downhill. I wanted to move some money out of the bank to pay off student loans and their associate basically told me that I had to pay a $10 transaction fee to move any amount greater than the etransfer limit of $5k. So I asked if I could move it out in cash today instead for free and told him the amount and he said that's fine, should be free. So I go to the bank and it took over 40 ... read more
Someone close to me passed away recently. I was in talks with Meridian to assume the mortgage, but was declined. I found out later the agent had misrepresented my income, and when confronted, refused to correct her error. I'm not sure whether they were trying to foreclose on the family, collect cancellation fees, or if they wanted to charge me a higher interest rate. There's something fishy about this institution. Take your money elsewhere.
