Beware of this place, poorly run and they abuse the residents it’s awful hearing screams. I did placement here and it broke my heart I couldn’t do anything to help.
Run away. Extremely poor and unsanitary environment. During my visit, staff deliberately tried to prevent me from seeing the actual residents’ rooms, redirecting my attention and covering up the real living conditions. The place looks fine from the entrance, but once you go inside the section where elderly residents live, it’s shocking — dirty, smelly, and neglected. Mercy Place are taking care of my Brother in Law. He was previously in assisted accommodation, but we realised he needed a higher level of care. Right from the start they have gone that extra mile to cater to his needs. He is finally looking settled . I have nothing but praise for their efforts.
