RecommendedI have been a customer of Merchants since I was a teen. I love the hometown feel and the personal touch you get with a smaller Community Bank. For the most part I have found the staff to be courteous and responsive to my needs. That was a big factor in my decision to work for them. I love the feeling of community and have personally seen many employees go way beyond to look out for the best interests of our customers.
This is the worst bank ever, they’re selfish and don’t care one bit about their customers. They always have an attitude when I call to talk about a problem. I’ll be switching today. Save yourself some trouble and switch your bank.
My husband and I have banked with Merchants bank since before we married. My husband went into the mount bethel branch today and the girls were very rude to him. I then called and spoke with the assistant branch manager who was equally rude. We will be closing both accounts as soon as we can get everything switched over.
