I called them to explain everything and they told me to call the hospital and let them know they’d have to contact the debt collectors. Lone behold, I call the hospital, and they tell me that my account says I owe $0 and that it doesn’t show as anything going to collections, since they don’t go through Merchants Credit Guide Company, and they go through a different collections agency. These people don't even tell you why they are texting you and claiming you owe a debt. They want information out of you but won't give any information to why they are saying you owe a debt. Then they hang up on you They make you suspicious they are scammers! Friendly a third person spoke with me and told me who reported me but started yelling at me. This credit agency reported my son’s medical bills that showed from the insurance company, he owed 0. The hospital billed him anyway. He disputed the collection account within 30 days and sent the letter certified mail which they ignored and then sent to the erroneous debt to the credit reporting agencies. This is illegal and against the Fair Credit Reporting Act. We will have to pursue legal action because of their unfair collection behavior.

After seeing numbers tied to them come up on spam block around 20 times I called them directly to make sure it was who the caller id said they were and not some scam (call direct if you keep getting calls so you don't get hit by scammers). So to start it is a legitimate collections company, you may or may not have business with. The individual I spoke to was professional and followed guidelines, no threats or harassment. In my case I was able to resolve the matter without hassle.
