Katie Z went above and beyond, stepping in to help even when she didn’t have to. I’m extremely impressed with the level of customer service she provided!
Terrible to deal with at every level from the tellers to the loan guy. Had to check their math every time and document every interaction. Their online banking is horrific and I was literally having fraud on my card so often I couldn't even use it. Zero issues since I got away from Merchants.
As a current banker, though probably for not very long, I have a little bit of a laundry list of issues. The one plus it has is convenience, being right across the street from my current home. Another is that the staff are generally very friendly and helpful. That's all they have. Their website is semi frequently plagued with problems, not loading up and with no customer service outside of normal bank work hours, is not helpful.
