Refused to cash my check from my job. Even spoke to the owner whom I immediately called - who uses Busey Bank and has been issuing all employee checks through there for years. Just opened a COD - went to open a savings account with a cashiers check with a large amount of money that I wasn’t comfortable keeping with me. I politely Asked if I could please open it so I didn’t have to carry a large amount of money - but because they were closing in 20 minutes and they needed a half an hour to open the savings account they wouldn’t do it for me.
