Came here recently with some people. While we were shopping we over heard the people working behind the loudly discussing how they don't agree with trans or gay people and their lifestyles. Frankly I'm disgusted. I have frequented Merchandise Outlet for years and never had any issue until today. After these comments though I won't be returning as I don't feel safe and refuse to fund bigots.
Absolutely love shopping Merchandise. They always seem to have the obscure item I need, and a few I didn't know I needed. However, I was made very uncomfortable hearing the staff loudly talking to each other about their personal beliefs including some homophobic rhetoric. As an obviously queer person, it felt as though their comments were intentional. I won't be back.
