I’ve been bike commuting ~10-15 km each way, 3-4 days per week for many years and switched to an ebike two years ago. Needless to say, I rely heavily on my bike and local bike shop. Of the five or so shops I’ve visited within 6-8km from S Freo, Mercer Cycles is by far the best for e-bike buying insights, maintenance and repairs, e-bike hires and general knowledge. Awesome service. Hired E bikes for Rottnest Island. They were awesome and cheap. Much better and cheaper than the bikes you can hire on the island. Costs $25 to take an E bike over, but still way cheaper and better. They also had all the knowledge of the ferry and island and told us everything we needed to know. A very smooth and laid back experience. Will be contacting them next week now I’m back in Brisbane to see how I can buy the same E-bike. Thanks for helping us out

Greg is a font of knowledge when it comes to bicycles, and after being a customer intermittently for years, usually for servicing of my analog bicycle, I went in looking for an eBike. Greg warmly explained the differences and rationale for choosing one model over another, and I left with an incredible new ebike, and a very effective lock so I feel safe and secure riding my new wheels around town.
