I had bad experience in Amerant bank in October when I moved money to the other bank. I was charged $15 service fee as I transferred $200. When I asked the clerks for the reason, at least two clerks didn't know the policy. I finally closed my checking account.
Great bank to do business with. Their agents are always very pleasant, knowledgeable and very helpful.
