Way too expensive. Shop around: you'll find other shops in Melbourne that sell many of the same fish and shrimp at half the prices these guys charge.
Staff are always helpful here but it can get quite busy on the weekends. They have a great selection of fish if you're looking at stocking up your home aquarium I can highly recommend the team at Mentone.
As a regular customer I was very disappointed when I’ve bought a fish tank here last Sunday. I’ve explained exactly was I was looking for and the employee advised me to buy the 4 fighting fish tank and that it would suit my needs. One week after I came back to the shop to explain that it didn’t work and if I could return it, and I even said that I would accept a store credit.
