I went to my first appointment open minded but not really expecting much. I left the first session a true believer! I had knee pain and didn’t want to start cortisol shots. After the first session it was 90% better. After 4 sessions I was good as new! I leave each session feeling calm and peaceful. I strongly recommended!
Started coming when I moved to Baltimore a year ago and found out that they accept CareFirst insurance for a $30 copay. I have issues with my lower back and I have experienced a release of tension and stress after my acupuncture sessions. I have also tried their massage therapy sessions and have bought a “Wellness Pass” that gives me 5 massages - I was also able to use my FSA dollars (also with CareFirst) for copays and the wellness pass. I LOVE Mend! I have been going here for years, have seen several different acupuncturists, and have never had a bad experience. I go every other week to treat aches, pains, and stress, and always leave feeling better than when I went in. I’ve been lucky to work with Sarah H. for a few years now and she helps me notice and have compassion around patterns in my body and emotions. She customizes my treatment each time based on the season and what I need. Acupuncture has become a really important part of my wellness routine.
