The following is a copy of the email sent by me to Members First Credit Union: Earlier this month, I reduced my deposit balances to a minimum of $10 in both checking and savings. I took this action because I did not want you to have access to my funds for lending and interest-earning for you. Had I not already had auto-deposits in place, I would have simply closed the account instead. Why? They allowed fraudulent charges to go to my account and wouldn't close it to stop them and I lost alot of money and it is not being reimbursed even though they said it would. Terrible customer service

I don’t recommend. They don’t protect you against fraudulent charges and they charge for everything!
I joined this credit union around 1984. I have had accounts and loans over the years. I hit some financial troubles several years ago and maxed out my credit card. I have asked and asked to have our interest lowered, even for just a time to help get this paid off. Right now about $100 of every $200 I pay goes to interest. all I have seen is a BANK'S red tape, not a credit union that puts their members first. Sad.
My wife and I stopped by to get a form notorized and experienced outstanding customer service from Rhonda Nelson. It was raining and my wife had just had foot surgery. Rhonda came out to our vehicle and took care of everything. Thanks Rhonda! You have customers for life. Verne & Christona Hilt
