I have finally decided to walk away from this bank. It used to be a bank where everyone knows your name but now it has same policy and rules as the big banks with none of the convenience. Sad to see them go but the grass is greener on the other side
Spoke to Ms. Tammy regarding the Burleson Branch today. I communicate with her and closing my account. I’ve not been happy with customer service. On the app, it states you can delete an account by coming in or speaking with the representative. I followed up with a phone call, Ms.Tammy answered and said no, you have to come in before closing an account. I explained to her Why does it say on the app? Otherwise she indicated she doesn’t know. I grew up with this bank and in the past it has served me well. However the systems are outdated and the convenience of 2025 is unfortunately not this bank in the past few years things have become more difficult being a member of this bank. I have not closed my account due to loyalty 17years but with my latest experience. Im making sure to take time out of my workday to go in and close with the bank completely.
