I've been with member One for approximately 30 years. I am extremely disappointed in the service that I received regarding a concern about activity and incorrect copies of checks from 2021 instead of the current correct check. The checks from 2021 have been altered !!!!! Two days later,.I'm still waiting for a return call from the contact department's supervisors. They have cost Member One/Virginia FCU a significant deposit into a CD or MMKT of 100k. I'm taking my money somewhere else!!!! My problem remains unresolved!!!!
DO NOT GO TO ANY MEMBERONE LOCATION. DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT. RUN. RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN. They are INCOMPETENT. It took me OVER A MONTH to get my VISA platinum closed and a new card issued. I get the new cards THE BANK ORDERED and can't activate THE NEW CARD because THE ACCOUNT IS CLOSED. called card services and got hung up on. On January 19th, 2023, I deposited $10K into my money-market. At that time I asked the teller and lead teller if I would be assessed a low-balance fee. They assured me it would not be assessed. On January 31, 2023, I received a $10 low-balance fee. The account had a $0 balance for many months prior, but did not accrue a low balance fee.
