They failed to tell us that they removed the overdraft feature. They also claim to pay early but they lied! My husband has been waiting for his check and has to wait until next week for it! DO NOT BANK WITH THEM if you need the extra features! Go find a better bank!
These mergers go through with no concern to the people who will be most affected. I had no trouble with my Member One account, but doing the simple task of linking my VACU account to my online checking account is IMPOSSIBLE! I also hate always waiting on hold which rarely happened when it was Member One!
I'm a former Member One customer that was merged into VA Credit Union. Merger has definitely had quite a few issues. I don't like that my pay sits in the account for days showing posted but never available to use. This includes my veterans pension. With Member One the funds were available immediately. Several days before my actual paycheck & several days before the actual date of my veterans pay. My current veterans check has been showing pending 3 days now but not available for use.
