Member one was such a better bank then this crap
Do NOT bank with MemberLast. They are going through a merger with Virginia Credir Union and could not be handling it more poorly. Setting up children’s accounts, changing routing and account numbers, altering deposit information, credit card rewards programs. Everything is changing for the worst and their customer support is as poor as it comes. Expect to wait over an hour on the phone to speak to a person and hope you do not get transferred to be on the phone another hour.
I’ve been banking here almost 13 years and it USED to be the highest caliber of customer service. I’m so disappointed at what it has devolved into. When I got an unrecognized charge (standard Apple payment), my card was locked without me ever being notified or told who to contact. I traveled OUT OF STATE to speak to someone and they told me there was “nothing they could do with the merger” and that I wouldn’t be able to get a new card before the merger anyway….essentially locking me out from all my funds for nearly a month. ... read more
