In 1954, Melvin Weinberg opened the doors of Mel's Furniture at 508 Atlantic Boulevard - in the same location the store currently operates. Initially called Mel's Sales and Factory Bedding, Mel was passionate about the community, and supported many worthwhile endeavors to the benefit of the local community. More than 50 years later, Mel's Furniture continues to thrive thanks to Mel's sons Phillip and Ron. Read more about the rich history on our About Us page
