Leo came out just a few hours after we called and replaced our garage door spring easily and quickly. He was super polite, clean, and as a bonus, very sweet with my young son who was quite the curious onlooker. Would recommend to anyone!
Outsourced to a TAKO garage door repair company. Quoted one price, 10% online discount. Then after the work was done… miraculously the price went up 10%. Labor went from $350 to $485. Called Melikson to complain but never got a call back. I don’t mind paying top tier prices for same day service but this was shady. Tried calling today - not open on Saturday. I rent my house in Santa Clara and got an urgent call from our renter. Lee, the technician from Melikson garage door came out within an hour of my call. It was your basic nightmare scenario. My tenant’s car was trapped in the garage due to the opener, failing. There was no way in or so I thought. Lee came up with a great solution. Excellent from beginning to end! I called the night before and had Jacob come out first thing the next morning. Had a courtesy call from him twice before he showed up. Once to let me know that he'd be here by 9:00 am, and a follow-up to inform me that he was 15 minutes away. Once here, he laid out all of the options I had to choose from, explaining in detail the differences between each type of torsion spring.
