I'm not sure they have their clients' best interest in the forefront of all their business dealings. If you get paid to provide legal services to a client, then make sure you are providing that service. We, as clients, believe when you tell us to sign something, that it's in our best interest. I'm not educated with a law degree, and that's why you were hired. While I hope to never need Maury’s services again I recently hired him for the 2nd time to defend me against bogus restraining orders filed by my wife. Both times Maury got the restraining orders dismissed after the 1st court appearance. Maury took the time to make sure he understood some of the complexities so he could make sure he defended the allegations appropriately.
Maury is an excellent attorney. I hired him for a family court matter/post divorce issue to appeal the judge’s order, which is almost impossible to do in a first place, and we won. One of my favorite things about working with Maury was that he would not engage in any drama with the opposing party and no needless conversations that just end up draining your wallet.
