If this firm could get no stars. That would be more accurate. The lawyer Carlos Mejias missed my statute date because he was too wrapped up in his own drama of his live- in girlfriend who was suing him in a divorce to deal with my case. When I became more aggressive because I knew my date was approaching... he made up a bunch of hours to nickle and dime my retainer away so that he would have money to fight his own case and left me with nothing...no retainer no case nothing.
